What is On Demand?

Our On Demand solution gives you the chance to incorporate Scribeless handwritten notes into your production process. After we generate the note for you, you can print it out in your facility so you can add it to orders in-house.

Here, we will try and answer any questions you have about how best to set yourself up so your On Demand printing can run smoothly.

The majority of what you need to know will be explained to you on your setup call, but here's a couple of On Demand FAQs that you may need an answer to.

Where can I check how many notes I have left?

To find your remaining allowance, go to your Scribeless account Settings, accessible from the sidebar under the Account heading. Scroll down to the On Demand section to see your remaining allowance, as well as when your allowance will reset.

Our subscription is running low/has run out. What should we do?

First things first, congrats - sounds like business is booming! If you have reached the end of your subscription, contact one of our team - preferably your point of contact who has been running you through On Demand up till this point - and we can start a conversation about upgrading your subscription.

My notes aren't printing. What should I do?

There are a number of things to check before reaching out to us. Some things you can try to help us figure out the root of the issue are:

  • Make sure that your printer is online, connected and active. Some printers have a manual pause mode which it might have slipped into
  • Make sure that Scribeless Print is running
  • Check to see if you have maxed out your monthly allowance by going into your Account and looking at your Settings in the sidebar

Once you've tried all of these things, if you still aren't having any luck, reach out to our support team, who will be more than happy to help.

Scribeless Print isn't installing. What should I do?

There are a number of things to check before reaching out to us. Some things you can try to help us figure out the root of the issue are:

  • Try deleting the application and installing it again on a different browser
  • If you've got any security software (i.e. corporate security, anti-virus software) running, you may need to whitelist the software before installing

Once you've tried all of these things, if you still aren't having any luck, reach out to our support team, who will be more than happy to help.

My notes are printing but not how they should be. What should I do?

We're very happy to help but we do recommend that you save yourself some time by doing one quick check. Try printing a PDF to the same printer from your computer which is the same size and same amount of sides.

  • If this prints out fine, then the problem may be on the Scribeless side
    • Try uninstalling and reinstalling your printer on your machine
    • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Scribeless Print software
    • Try choosing a different print engine. You can do this by going to the Scribeless Print app and then going to the top right and clicking the dropdown then choosing a different engine version.
    • If all of these don't work out, drop us an email and we'll get one of our expert technicians on the case
  • If this still prints out wrong, this is more likely to be an issue with your printer. Be sure that you're using suitable settings and materials for your printer

I can't login to my Scribeless Print account.

Your Scribeless Print account details are different to the login details to your regular Scribeless account. To find your Scribeless Print password, go to your Scribeless account Settings, accessible from the sidebar.

If you have changed your password and since forgotten it, you can change your password on the Scribeless Print app.

I've been asked to send my logs so the Scribeless team can have an in depth look at an issue. How do I do this?

Go to your Scribeless Print app and go to the Logs tab and then click on 'Send to Support'. A row will come up in the table telling you your log reference (e.g. '58925AAE' below). Please take a note of this and let us know so we know which logs we want to be looking at!
